Allison Milliron is a professional artist, youth director and contemporary worship leader. She currently works alongside her husband, Reverend Josh Milliron at the First United Methodist Church of Amite, since moving to Amite in July of 2016. She is a graduate of the Alabama School of Fine Arts High School, Auburn University, and Asbury Theological Seminary and holds both a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Divinity degree.
Allison owned the Red Beret Art Studio in Moss Bluff, LA from 2011-2013 and had over 100 students in her storefront studio. Her Facebook page for the studio remains online today for reference and picture archives, although the business has been closed since January 2014. She has been offering art education classes to new students in Amite since January 2017.
During the school year, Allison Milliron Art Studio is only open on Thursday afternoons since Allison works full time as the Youth Director & Contemporary Worship Leader of First UMC, Amite. Summer Camps are 4 consecutive days in the afternoons on various weeks of the summer. Allison also occasionally offers one-day paint camps or workshops for children, teens and adults. She may also be available for birthday parties and adult paint-n-sip parties.
In addition to art education, Allison enjoys painting large-scale murals for churches and businesses, creating spiritual art for Christian teaching, and painting portraits. She also gives of her time as a speaker for community clubs and gatherings.
